From the artist on SWAMP TRUMP

“Drain the swamp” resonated with millions who despised politics as usual in 2016.  Trump’s opponents—Republicans and Democrats alike—couldn’t exploit this winning theme because they were mired in the manure Trump majestically mocked, but most Trump voters didn’t see that he is even more mucked up in his own perfect way.  Inspired by Dadaism, I conceived this series to illustrate the merger of Trump and swamp as indicated by different titles and visual cues.

Trump was not on my mind when I painted “Fuck This Shit/Buy New Art,” but he sure is now.  However, in the spirit of fairness, I am planning a winning series of huge paintings of the classy border wall financed by Mexico.
